The Nsfas Online Application Opens on 1 September and closes on November 302022.

Who is eligible for King Hintsa TVET College Nsfas
Successful applicants will have the funds paid directly to the College on their behalf. The students receive no payment themselves.
- All bursary processes are explained to students by the bursary officer.
- The bursary will be allocated to deserving students through a means test.
Financing will be accessible to:
- Students from families with a joined family pay of not more than R350 000 (300 and 50,000 Rand) per annum, enrolling at TVET schools and colleges interestingly,
- Students getting back to TVET schools and colleges to finish or proceed with their first undergrad capability. Just select post-graduate capabilities that are financed, and kindly allude to the site for the full rundown.
- Students from families with a joined family pay of up to R122 000 (one hundred and 22 thousand Rand) get back to TVET schools and colleges following a whole little while to finish their first undergrad capability.
- Students from families who are beneficiaries of youngster support awards or inability awards controlled through the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) will consequently fit the bill for NSFAS subsidizing.

Upon qualifying for the NSFAS bursary, a beneficiary is required to sign an NSFAS Bursary Agreement with terms and conditions. Beneficiaries will then be expected to
- Comply with all academic requirements as set by institutions.
- Attend and participate in lectures, tutorials, and academic support programs as required by the institution;
- Complete all set assignments and/or tasks as required in terms of the due performance requirements of the Institution;
- Undergo all tests and examinations (written and oral) as required in terms of the due performance requirements of the institution;

-Please ensure that you have the correct documents (certified not older than 3 months) in electronic format available:

- Your South African ID or a birth certificate( if you do not have a green bar-coded ID or smart ID card)
- ID of parents and/or guardian or death certificate where applicable.
– Pay advice/letter of employment/ pension advice stating income of parents and guardian (SASSA slips are not
required and SASSA should not be included as household income
-Please ensure that you download the CONSENT FORM and that it is completed by your parent/s and or guardian – this has to be attached to your Application form – see flip-side for details
