Ingwe TVET College Nsfas is a financial aid scheme funded by the Department of Higher Education and Training to support students who do not have the financial means to fund their studies and cannot access bank funding, study loans, or bursaries.

NSFAS financial support previously was in the form of loans and still needs to be paid back when you find employment after completion of your studies. If you passed all your subjects, 40% of the NSFAS funding for that particular year/semester was converted into a bursary. This means you will only pay back 60% of the loan when you start working.

Ingwe TVET College NSFAS Application Qualification;

• South African Citizenship
• Enrolled or intending to enroll at a Public TVET College
• In need of financial assistance
• Able to demonstrate potential for academic success

The following documents are needed for NSFAS Application;

• Original copies of Identity Documents/Birth Certificate
• Original Academic Results Latest
• Proof of parent’s income (If parent/s employed)
• Death Certificate/s (If parent/s deceased)
• Doctor’s Certificate (If permanently disabled)

Ingwe TVET College offers the following Courses;

• Financial Management
• Business Management
• Human Resources Management
• Marketing
•  Office Administration
• Finance
• Economics and Accounting
• Civil Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Civil and Building Construction
  Electrical Infrastructure Construction

THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS APPLY:

1. Students must enroll in more than three (3) subjects to be eligible for a bursary.
2. Only students that were academically successful may apply for the next academic level.
3. Reserves the right to verify the information on the application form. This information will be treated as confidential.
4. This bursary is not applicable to employer students.
5. Students may ONLY apply for EITHER the transport or accommodation allowance.
6. 100% class attendance is expected to qualify for the transport or accommodation allowance.
7. Bursary recipients who switch from one program to another (i.e. from NC (V) to Report 191 program N1 – N3 or vice-versa) or change programs within an NC (V) or Report 191 program during the course of their studies are not eligible for financial assistance.
8. Bursary recipients who complete NC (V) Level 4 are not eligible for financial assistance should they want to enroll in another NC (V) program or Report 191 program N1 – N3. Buffalo City TVET College Nsfas Application

Similarly, bursary recipients who complete Report 191 N4 – N6 are not eligible for financial assistance should they want to enroll for another Report 191 program N4 – N6 or an NC (V) program.

9. Bursary recipients who complete NC (V) Level 4 are only eligible for financial assistance should they want to enroll for Report 191 N4 – N6.
