Introduction
Our client, in the Logistics industry, is seeking an Entry Clerk to join their team, based in Johannesburg.
Duties & Responsibilities
Duties to include, amongst others:-
- Ensure all import documents received for preparing customs clearance are correct and sufficient
- Ensure that correct tariff headings are applied, and correct duties paid
- Attend to client’s Customs technical requirements
- Provide advice on tariff headings and duty rates
- Assist with applications for Customs code
