Duties & Responsibilities

Description We’re hiring a Technical Sales Representative. Learn how you can be our voice in the conversation about the future of agriculture. As a regional Technical Sales Representative, you will contribute to achieve the financial goals of the commercial team and maximize product sales by providing high quality service in your territory. You Will Be Part of Growing Team: Primarily responsible for selling and promoting products and/or services to channel participants. Works independently within an assigned territory or customer base. Manages all aspects of the selling process and relationship with channel partners. Administers sales policies and programs to meet sales and profit goals for the territory. Demonstrates a deep understanding of the business processes and needs of channel participants. Selling role is moderately consultative. Your Challenge: Supporting sales of existing products; Providing high quality technical product information and training; execute company and territory strategic plan and distribution strategy; Implementing marketing plans; monthly product forecasting; Attendance at key industry field days and study groups; Participation in product portfolio management teams. Excitingly, it will involve assisting the national team launch new products over the next couple of years. Key Stakeholders and Interactions: The candidate will be working with crop advisors and sales agents from different Crop Protection Distributors. The successful applicant will also interact with the Southern African Agricultural industry representatives and role players. Location: The successful applicant will be responsible for the Limpopo and Mpumalanga region. Preferred locations will be Nelspruit and Tzaneen Qualifications To Grow What Matters, You Will Need Postgraduate qualification in Agricultural Science or similar Three to five years’ experience in crop protection related business Previous experience in sales and in citrus fruits Sound understanding of agricultural farming systems Good communication and relationship development skills Desire to be developed, to progress your career Frequent travel within the region Who Are We Looking For?
