Essentials: BSc Hons / MSc / PhD (Life Science or Chemistry), hands on Microscopy + Molecular Biology experience, 2 – 5 years ++ sales in a related industry role, South African citizen, outstanding command of English, own car and driver’s license essential.

Description:
Fantastic opportunity for a Scientist with a passion for Sales. This well-known Lab supply distributor seeks an experienced individual to join their sales team. The position will work with an existing client base and state of the art product range focused on molecular biology, microscopy & high throughput lab instrumentation. If you love the challenge of breaking into new markets and providing excellent service and technical support this position is for you!
Required Prerequisites:Â
- BSc Hons / MSc / PhD in Life Science or Chemistry
- Hands on lab experience with Microscopy & Molecular Biology methods
- 2 – 5++ years relevant sales experience
- Must be willing to travel
- Highly skilled in communications and presentations in English
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Ambitious and self-motivated
- Independent worker with highly developed people skills
- Highly computer literate
