Sea Logistics Pricing Specialist

Our Client in the Sea Logistics Sector is looking to recruit a Pricing Specialist who will support their logistic organization in South Africa with accurate, competitive pricing in a professional manner and within the agreed timelines.
Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements
- Matric
- First university degree -Logistics & Supply Chain Management
- Have 2-5 years’ experience in Sea Logistics
- Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, Sea-Log , CIEL, KN Login)
- Knowledge of Sea logistics processes
- Strong analytical and analysis skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- English, written and spoken fluently
- Meticulous, attention to detail and self-motivated
Responsibilities
- Preparation and completion of internal (QTSea) and external (customer) quotes within the required KPIs.
- Manage & maintain pricing across all platforms.
- Work closely with trade/product managers to ensure that competitive pricing is used to secure key opportunities.
- Assist the operational care centre and customer care Locations with any queries relating to quotations.
- Where necessary and when required, negotiate directly with suppliers for specific enquiries.
- Assist with pricing for RFQs when required..
- Be a subject matter expert(SME) for all pricing tools within the organisation.
- Understand and adhere to all policies such as QSHE, compliance, anti-bribery, code of conduct etc.
