Duties & Responsibilities

  • Daily prospecting for new corporate SME accounts
  • Proposing a quotation that matches and identifies with the clients’ needs in a professional and timeous manner
  • Developing and maintaining company presence in the market place through cold calling, emailing and phoning
  • Identifying new corporate customers through networking, referrals and research
  • Matching prospects requirements to existing service via well-constructed written proposals
  • Professionally demonstrating service offered
  • Resolving customer enquiries quickly and effectively
  • Following up on all leads rapidly and effectively.
  • Dealing with all meetings and clients in an urgent and focus manner
  • Ensuring proper comprehension of PNet services offered
  • Training customers on the proper use of the PNet service
  • Performing customer care calls to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Do follow up calls to develop long term sustainable relationships with clients
  • Look after and maintain your existing customer base that you will build
  • Ensure that you look after renewals and bring in the respective renewal business

    1. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Plans, organises and prioritises the following sales activities on a daily basis:

 

  • Perform at least 50 prospecting calls (cold calls) per day to identify potential new business or continue to promote customer awareness with previous contacts, identify key decision maker (s) pushing for new business leads and contacts.
  • Document SAP One Sales CRM customer information on an account profile form to create a record of all prospects.
  • Do regular promotions and follow up to create sales opportunities.
  • Return customers telephone calls promptly to answer questions and provide information in order to increase sales service
  • Provide follow up information to prospects summarizing the key points of call, quotations and as other documents necessary to push the sales effort
  • Discuss terms of contracts & service clearly and thoroughly with customer to clarify all costs of ownership to close sales negotiations effectively and professionally
  • Completes paperwork and maintain a sense of urgency and commitment in getting clients on board
  • Submit all prospecting lists activities and any other sales information required by Sales Manager

  • Achieving set monthly sales targets

  • Working knowledge of direct selling, database marketing and telesales
  • Self-motivated, self-driven and high activity levels

  • Have high energy levels and be able to cope with a multitude of tasks, problems and challenges on an ongoing basis
  • Ability to deal with senior executive at corporate level – personal presentation, communication skills and grammar, social and business etiquette must be at a very professional level
  • Mental agility and “thinking on your feet”.
  • Handling objections and creating value for the company’s products and services in a highly competitive market
  • Ability to fully understand the needs of prospects and clients.
  • Have a needs assessment or problem solving mentality
  • Capacity to develop and deliver complex proposals
  • Closing new business
  • Understanding the competitors and competitor offerings, pricing and differentiators
  • Computer/software and technology knowledge.
