Junior Accountant
Are you ready for the next step in your career? Our client, an industry leader in the manufacturing space is looking to employ a Cost Accountant to become part of their team. This person must be able to adapt to a rough and tough manufacturing environment and have the ability to liaise with operational staff.
Duties & Responsibilities
Planning, interpreting, and collecting data to determine costs
Analyse actual manufacturing costs
Cost of sales calculations
Maintain Cost Accounting System
Prepare monthly journals and close of the general ledger
Assist with annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting
Conducts inventory counts on the factory floor
Reconcile finished goods inventories
Capturing of orders and invoicing
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 3 -4 years’ experience
Manufacturing experience (Advantageous)
Qualification:
BCom Degree or CIMA
