Network Finance Junior Cost Accountant

My client has served clients all around the continent, as a well trusted manufacturing brand they are expanding daily and therefor need you to join their team.As a company who takes pride in their work and employees they are in need of an top Junior Cost Accountant who is not afraid of getting their hand dirty.

You will gain exposure in heavy manufacturing and be involved with factories and warehouses based in Milnerton.

Job & Company Description:

• Collect cost information and maintain an expenses database
• Construct data accumulation systems
• Determine fixed costs (e.g. salaries, rent and insurance)
• Plan and record variable costs (e.g. purchases of raw material and operations costs)
• Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies
• Prepare budgeting reports (for the company and for each department)
• Analyze and report profit margins
• Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) cost forecasts
• Assisting in month-end and year-end closing
• Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions
• Being involved with the factories and warehouses
• Cost allocation
• Have an understanding of the full finance function
• Reconsiliations and audit involvement
• Standard costing involvement

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Bcom Degree
• 1-3 years experience in the same line.
• Previous manufacturing/retail/FMCG exposure would be beneficial
