CHERTL offers three qualifications in the broad field of Higher Education Studies. We have a vibrant Doctoral community, with about 30 PhD scholars and 10 Pre-Doc Scholars. We have a small Master’s programme. And we have two versions of our highly-regarded Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education – the one is for academics from across all disciplines and the other is for those working in academic development. Our Higher Education Studies programmes bring together scholars from every public university in South Africa, and a number of scholars from further afield.
