SCISTAFF Next Generation Sequencing Sales Representative (W788)
Description: A company distributing analytical instruments and reagents is looking for a Sales Representative for their for their Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) portfolio. The successful candidate’s key responsibilities will include: provide customers with day to day quotations; make active sales calls on a daily basis and achieve call targets set; active sales visits on a weekly and monthly basis, depending on the customer’s requirements; active customer care comprising of technical sales advice to customers, customer profiling, processing of customer orders, following up on customer queries; provide Technical Support for customers; convey leads for other departments to the relevant colleagues; follow up on all quotations sent out and enquiries received.
Key Requirements: MSc in Molecular Biology or related field with direct Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) experience. At least 2 years’ sales experience in a bioscience or medical diagnostics sales environment. Experience in NGS, library preparation and basic molecular biology applications such as nucleic acid extraction, clean up and PCR required. Experience with automated liquid handlers beneficial. Driver’s licence and own car essential. Valid passport and willing to travel locally and abroad.
Additional Requirements: Have good interpersonal skills and very good problem solving skills.
Remuneration: Market related and dependent on experience.
