Do you have experience as a General Manager with expertise overseeing Consumer product lines, Business Management & Operations in a Consumer Lending and Finance Organization?
Our Client, an Int Finance corporation, requires you to lead and be the direct point of contact for corporate clients, sales, credit & risk management, new business development & business expansion into African countries.
Duties & Responsibilities
REQUIREMENTS
5-7 years experience in consumer finance or unsecured lending, marketing or operations
BCom Degree in Finance or similar
Solid business analytics skills
P&L experience and passion for consumer
Strong project management and operational skills
Exceptional ability to coordinate and influence multiple stakeholders (both internal and external) to take action and produce high-quality outcomes in a timely manner
Strategic thinking, strong presence and accountability
Proactive personality and forward thinker
Superior collaboration and communication skills a must
Knowledge of NCA and its application thereof essential Responsibilities
DUTIES
Enable business decisions by a strategic understanding of the groups business
Partner with finance to track business performance and provide key leadership updates in terms of corporate clients
Provide context above and beyond the data
Addressing the why behind the number
Connect dots among corporate clients and their marketing, sales and innovation to understand and improve our business drivers
Identify performance gaps and opportunities within the consumer product business as well as expanding eCommerce, corporate client business and franchising to neighbouring African countries
Quantify and prioritize gaps
Develop strategies against gaps
Work with and enable teams and clients to execute the above strategies
Assist with managing inventory by connecting Finance and Sales work streams
Incorporate data into every decision made regarding consumer products and the corporate client finance team
Develop a best in class business analytics mindset
Assist in the development of innovation forecasting, P&L’s and financial analyses
Develop and own Post Launch Evaluation processes where necessary, develop KPIs, assess performance and garner learnings to improve business revenue at corporate client and franchising level
Partner with corporate client teams to own opportunity analysis, identify solutions and manage areas to deliver growth opportunities
Assess review ratings and reviews to analyse and organize data, formulate insights and identify opportunities and risks in the group
General management duties across the group of companies
Salary: R80 000 – 100 000 dependent on experience
