Introduction
Reporting to the HR Officer – Project
3 positions (Germiston (Tunney), Gauteng / Mount Moriah, Durban – KZN / Epping, Cape Town)
Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure operational effectiveness in terms of staff i.e., recruitment, availability and monitoring and correcting behavior
- Staff recruitment and induction
- Manage and book hours and allowances
- Training
- Monitor driver PrDP validity and AARTO
- Monitor distribution staff passport validity and availability
- IR including initiate hearings/corrective disciplinary action
- Monitor/book leave
- Issue and monitor PPE/company property
- H&S committee member and fulfil assigned duties
- Investigate delivery stock shortages/damages
- Maintain accurate statistics
- Resolve queries from staff and management
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualification
- Minimum Matric
Experience
- Proven record of managing staff at a supervisory level (sites)
Skills / attributes
- Communication skills, both written and verbal across all levels
- Computer literacy at intermediate level with specific knowledge of drawing up and utilizing Excel spreadsheets
- Driven individual that is a fast learner
- Organized
- Disciplined with good attention to detail
- Team Player
- Interpersonal skills
- Problem solving with a hands-on approach
- Effective time management skills
General
The successful individual must –
- be able to work flexible hours as it is an inherent working condition of the position
- have own reliable transport and be able to get to the DC at all hours as and when the situation requires
