To help achieve the Company’s objectives by ensuring the raw materials and production plans are in place and that all raw material is available, controlled and supplied to line, to store and dispatch finished goods to meet our customer requirements for quantity and time. To ensure proper administration to support accurate records of stock.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant degree / diploma (Logistics / Warehousing)
• Minimum 8 years’ experience, which includes stores, warehousing, MRP, stock control in an automotive environment
• Minimum 5 years people supervision or management
• In-depth knowledge of warehousing and stock control processes and systems in a manufacturing environment
• High level of Excel skill
• Experience with Syspro
• Experience in the injection moulding industry

DUTIES:

• Ensure correct raw material is in place, on time at the right price to support what needs to be produced
• Ensure a production schedule is in place that supports what needs to be produced
• Ensure accuracy of all actual stock (raw material, WIP, finished goods) to records
• Manage compliance to processes in all activities (purchasing, receiving, stock movement, dispatch, regrind, admin and systems)
• Control returnable packaging
• Ensure dispatching meets customer call-offs
• Manage people
• Ensure equipment availability, care and maintenance
• Ensure housekeeping and safety standards are met
• Liaise with customers as required ensuring their satisfaction
