Our Cllient (a Business Process Solutions company) based in Sandton, is looking for a Business Transformation Manager. The ideal candidate will have accounting business outsourcing experience. An MBA will be beneficial.

Role Purpose

Design bespoke client solutions for SA Business Unit and delivery location for both prospective and existing clients. This is a market facing role that requires innovative thinking, international stakeholder collaboration and strong outcomes orientation.

Qualifications Required

  • Matric/ Grade 12 Certificate
  • Relevant Degree/Diploma
  • Project Certification will be an added advantage
  • Finance & Accounting Outsourcing experience
  • Shared Services Outsourcing experience

Global Offshoring, Business Process Optimisation & Re-engineering and Outsourcing Transition experience

  • MBA (Added Advantage)

Experience Required

  • At least 5+ years proven experience in designing Consulting/Outsourcing Solutions for multi-national companies
  • Proven track record of at least 4years Business Development, Sales or Marketing Experience in Finance & Accounting Outsourcing or Professional Services
  • An understanding of business process mapping, re-engineering and optimisation
  • Good communication skills – verbal and written
  • Proven track record in BPM/BPO Client Services
  • Above average proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint and Visio

Job-Related Knowledge, Competencies & Skills Required


  • Experience in multiple business verticals i.e. BFSI, Telecommunications, Utilities, Retail and experience of having worked in the frontline industry would be an added advantage
  • Solution/presales experience with diagnostics/due diligence for the deals managed.
  • Monitor and coach behaviours that ensure a service culture which builds rewarding relationships, proposes innovations and allows others to provide exceptional client service.
  • Good understanding of all the solution components such as outsourcing benchmarks, baseline calculations, pricing, enabling tools and technology, location strategy etc.
  • Willingness to learn new automation tools and must be have updated knowledge of upcoming technology and industry trends
  • Strong interpersonal skills – ability to communicate with clarity and build strong working relationships, focused on teamwork, able to manage change for transformation assignments
  • Analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex requirements and define technical/functional advanced solutions
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Strong ability to work with a cross functional team deep understanding of business processes and off-shore business environment
  • Proven client engagement and management skills
  • Ability to handle high pressure situations and multi-task
  • Co-ordination and program management skills to interface with various stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills (Written & Verbal) – should be able to communicate with various levels in client organization at the same time
  • Must be flexible to travel as the role is client facing and visits may or may not be local and international.
  • Experience and exposure in story telling

  • Cross functional Finance and Accounting experience (O2C, P2P, R2R and payroll)
  • Experience in working in a Consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Would be responsible for pre-sales, end-to-end solutioning, collateral development, business development support for opportunities across multiple business verticals.
  • Create customized solutions which address client business constraints and leverage strengths of our organization.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends in the domain – Research competition and updates on global market trends
  • Conjecture business challenges which are specific to target client and leverage our analytical experience.
  • Propose delivery alternatives which address risk and investment appetite, stand out against industry competition and increase chance of our Organization’s success in bid process.
  • Lead the end-to-end RFX process for specific deals allocated to the South African delivery location, supporting several business units
  • Liaise with cross functional teams and Subject Matter Experts like EXCO, operations, quality, finance, technology, transition, human resources etc. for the creation and design of solutions
  • Ensure that the RFX response is clearly articulated and that the Company’s value proposition and credentials meet client’s specific requirements
  • In association with Business Development, identify opportunities across the value chain, and build a solutions framework to address these opportunities.
  • In association with Business Unit Heads, identify growth opportunities in existing accounts.
  • Improve bid win rates and strive towards attaining the allocated business unit growth targets
  • Assist Marketing in the content development of client facing collateral i.e. case studies, company brochures, due diligence, event and road show invites, presentations, and themes.
  • Participation in special / strategic projects from time to time
  • Sales Support – Understand total solutions, Opportunity Assessment, Analysis of RFP/RFI/RFQ Documents, Discoveries & Scoping Workshops, Interview and collect requirements directly from clients / prospects, present capabilities, lead or act as Subject Matter Expert, create scope documents, Design global delivery models, Establish business architecture
