CIVIL ENGINEERING BURSARIES FOR 2020 & 2021
Civil Engineers oversee the design, planning and construction of major infrastructures such as railways, highways, bridges, skyscraper buildings and water reservoirs. They assess material and labour costs, project deadlines and environmental impacts which will affect their projects.
These professionals can find employment in various sectors, including environmental, transportation and structural.
A Civil Engineering degree (bachelor’s or master’s) is definitely a prerequisite for this field. Skills required include the knowledge and practical experience using engineering design software and auto computer-aided design (CAD) software. They must also be able to work well within a team, have good communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and be able to train their juniors.
