Design Engineer required at an international company with an office in Cape Town. Will be involved in design from first principles and redesign of existing products due to Engineering changes. Small component designs as well as complete System designs.

Junior Design engineer with a passion for detail design and product development. This company is specializing in developing complete designs from first principles as well as improvement on existing designs
Qualification and skills required:
- B Eng / BSc / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- MUST have at least 1 year of working experience in design of parts/ equipment
Responsibilities:
- Conceptual design, detail design, component selection and costing
- Create parts, assemblies and assembly instructions using 3 D CAD skills
- Create modular design to improve assembly process in a production environment
- Apply fundamental engineering principles
