A well-established military company based in Centurion is seeking to employ a Production Engineer to join their team.

Job Title: Production Engineer

Geographical area: Centurion

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

• Assist Product Designers to enhance product drawings for use in production environment
• Define requirements and scope tasks and ensure product data-packs are suitable/ adapted for the creation of assembly instructions
• Member of various industrialisation teams for products under development
• Assist product industrialisation teams with mechanical schematic drawings and facility layout;
• Industrialise Product and Production Baseline Changes and maintain accordingly (collaborate with design authorities and Operations role players
• Define, establish and apply DFMA design principles and techniques and roll out to Product design engineers
• Compile Production Aid Documentation

Minimum qualifications and experience:

• BTech in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• 5-8 years’ experience in product design and development
• Experience in CREO
• Product industrialization
• Assembly line technical support
