Are you an executive Marketing Manager with minimum 10 years FMCG/Retail experience managing a range of top luxury brands with an excellent track record of building awareness and executing marketing strategies to meet consumer needs?
An International concern with top leading brands requires your expertise to manage a marketing team throughout Africa, including third party distributors.
Duties & Responsibilities
REQUIREMENTS
Matric plus relevant degree qualification in sales, marketing, trade marketing
Experience managing high end brands and a team of employees
Ability to adhere to tight deadlines and changing needs
Strong people’s person with excellent communication skills
Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns
Proficiency with online marketing, project management and CRM & digital platforms
Experience working in Africa and Internationally highly advantageous’
Willingness and ability to travel
DUTIES
Developing and executing marketing campaigns
Monitor environment, competition & routes to market
Manage budget, cost control, A&P control, profitability, ensuring compliance with local regulations
Managing day-to-day marketing activities with marketing teams
Set targets by distribution channel and review achievements and performance
Build and deliver the annual business plan – financial targets, pricing and distribution strategies
Deliver marketing plan in cooperation with routes to market partners strategies and marketing plan.
Act as a custodian for image brand and deliver brand education in the market
Propose and follow media investment with relevant guidelines
Business development and ensuring compliance with legal and marketing guidelines for all brands activities
Identify new growth opportunities and build and deliver the business plan
Visits to major customers, identify and develop long term trade partnerships
Travel throughout Africa, South Africa and Internationally when required
Act as a Brand Ambassador and coordinate Customer’s and consumer’s visits
Adhering to tight deadlines and constant changing needs by the company
Working in partnership with the International Head Office strategies ensuring all aspects of marketing are executed correctly throughout Africa
Managing third party distributors and maintain good relationships
Propose and co-manage innovative promotional events with distributors
Participating in events, evening and weekend activities with extensive travel
Identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments
Management of people, recruit, motivate, train, develop and retain team members
Salary: R dependent on experience
