A well-known law firm in Bloemfontein is seeking an Office Manager to join their team.

Remuneration

Market related according to experience.

Requirements

Relevant BCom degree/Diploma beneficial

Personnel and Human Resource Management experience

Office Management experience

Strong financial background and experience

Background knowledge of short-term insurance.

Broad knowledge of computer systems and other operating and information systems

Knowledge/experience of law firm will be beneficial.

Must be able to speak English and Afrikaans.

Work under extreme pressure

Excellent communication skills

Duties

Oversee the daily operations of the firm.

Manage general office activities and personnel.

Delegating of tasks to admin support staff and directors

Perform supervisory responsibilities in conjunction with the directors.

Submission of insurance claims and renewal of policies

To provide administrative and secretarial support for the directors

General recruitment responsibilities

Oversee, arrange and manage the annual intake of candidate attorneys.

Budgetary matters, assignments and projects

Managing the maintenance of all buildings, rental contracts, repairs and enquiries

Managing the use and faults on all copier machines.

Compose, prepare and process legal, general and confidential correspondence, including email and faxes.

Plan office layout develop office administration, operating budget and initiate cost reduction programs.

General marketing functions and coordination of meetings, programs, or events.

Research and develop resources and methodologies that crate timely an efficient workflow.

Respond to questions regarding overall departmental or office policies, procedures and practices.

To provide answers to clients by answering questions, providing info, making referrals and assuring appropriate follow-through and /or resolution

To oversee, co-ordinate and liaise with BEE accreditation agencies in order to ensure annual compliance.
