Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of a budget aligned to operational delivery plans, monitor effectiveness, and report on variances
- Develop risk control monitoring plan with focus on monitoring key controls and building a risk management culture
- Ensure monitoring of risk management activities are conducted that ensure comprehensive identification of all key relevant risks to safeguard the business
- Ensure application of established Risk tools to ensure comprehensive risk assessments are conducted for allocated business units and provide guidance on risk mitigation solutions that align to Company relevant risk frameworks and policies and drives a combined assurance approach to risk assessment
- Ensure reporting on critical projects status to contribute to delivery against set timelines
- Ensure relevant risk management documentation and reports to identify and track delivery against key risks, mitigating actions, relevant risk themes, trends and emerging risks are developed for allocated business units
- Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
- Develop new insights into situations and apply innovative solutions to make organisational improvements
- Manage people by executing management responsibilities and create an environment that encourages employee growth and performance excellence
- Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships within Company and/or across the Company Group

- Working with risk scenarios using the advance approach rule
- Exposure in defining risk appetite, setting the ranking & categorization of risk and boundaries within which management/business can operate

Desired Experience & Qualification
- Minimum Qualification – Bachelor of Commerce Degree or Advanced Diploma in Risk Management
- Preferred Qualification – Relevant Qualification
- Experience – At least 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience in a risk management function managing risk analysts, preferably in a financial institution
