Network Finance Customs and Excise Consultant

Job & Company Description:

This specialised advisory firm based in the heart of Johannesburg draws its strength from a team with extensive experience in the legal and accounting environments providing an exciting opportunity for individuals to enhance their skills and knowledge. The incumbent of the role will assume responsibility of the below:

• Compile submissions on matters relating to customs and excise
• Manage relationships with third party stakeholders
• Track the applications of various submissions and provide regular progress feedback
• Manage a set of designated clients
• Compile studies on international trade feasibility studies, excise and customs

Education:

• BCom in Accounting, Law or Taxation
• Additional qualification in Taxation is advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Excellent technical knowledge of taxation
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Good communication and presentation skills
