Introduction
Recharger has a post for an experienced Chief Financial Officer.
The CFO will be responsible for leading and managing all the financial aspects of the company, including managing strategic financial planning, financial statements and cash flow.Analyze the company’s financial strengths and weaknesses and recommends and implements procedures, policies and best practices.
The CFO will support the CEO in setting and tracking financial goals, objectives and budgets, providing management reports and overall financial team management and related expertise.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Complete management of the accounts department.
- Drive the company’s financial strategy & planning.
- Perform risk management by analysis of the organisation’s liabilities and investments.
- Supervise all finance personnel.
- Manage vendor relationships.
- Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports.
- Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies.
- Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures.
- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
- Establish policies that promote company culture and vision.
- Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
- Evaluate performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics.
- Report and update on company performance.
- Manage relationships with partners/vendors.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Proven experience as Chief Financial Officer/ Financial Executive
- Comprehensive knowledge of corporate financial policies and risk management practices
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
- Important Requirement is the ability to interpret Large IT Datasets and provide Business Intelligence Analytical analysis.
- CA (SA)
At least 10 years’ experience in the finance industry and managing a team is a must – with examples of when they have demonstrated excellence in the workplace. Must display a cohesive ability at interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written. They must be able to engage with staff at all levels of the organisation and exercise sound judgement.
