Rhodes University Accounting Department Postgraduate Entrance Requirements

Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy:

BCom Accounting Degree

An average of at least 58% across all four courses with a subminimum of:

55% Financial Accounting

55% Taxation

55% Auditing

55% Management Accounting and Finance

All subjects at third year level must be taken the year prior to entry into the programme.

Supplementary/re-examination results will not be considered in reviewing the application.

Postgraduate Diploma in Taxation:

BCom Degree including a minimum of 65% for Taxation at third year level.

FOR THOSE NOT MEETING THESE REQUIREMENTS EACH APPLICATION WILL BE CONSIDERED ON ITS MERITS.
