Physics and Electronics
The Department of Physics & Electronics is situated on the central campus in Grahamstown. The department provides a well rounded under-graduate program in physics with half the laboratory sessions dedicated to electronics.
At the honours level students specialise in Physics, Electronics or a joint honours with another department. Post-graduate research concentrates on experimental and computational aspects of Aeronomy, Radio Astronomy, Condensed Matter (experimental), Nuclear Physics and Electronics.
