ABOUT THE COMPANY – ROYAL BAFOKENG PLATINUM
Royal Bafokeng Platinum (RBPlat), formed by a joint venture between Royal Bafokeng Holdings (RBH) and Anglo American Platinum, is a mid-tier platinum group metals producer. The companies operations include the Bafokeng Rasimone Platinum Mine (North and South shaft), the BRPM Concentrator complex, Styldrift and the Maseve concentrator plant.
ABOUT THE BURSARY PROGRAMME – FIELDS COVERED & SELECTION
Royal Bafokeng Platinum will be awarding bursaries to students pursuing their studies within the following fields:
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mining Engineering
- Mine Survey
- Metallurgy
- Geology
- Environmental Management
- Finance
- Accounting

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):
- South African citizen
- Completed Matric
- Achieved a minimum result of 60% for Mathematics, Physical Science and English in Matric
- Studying or intend on studying full-time within one of the aforementioned fields of study (undergraduate only)
- Studying at a recognised tertiary institution in South Africa
- Preference will be given to students residing in the Bojanala District
- Possess the following skills and knowledge: strong interpersonal skills, good communication skills, self-discipline, energetic
- Clear credit and criminal record
