SASOL Agriculture Trust
Students are invited to apply for bursaries from the SASOL Agriculture Trust to further their postgraduate studies in an agricultural or related field of study.
The salient conditions in respect of these bursaries are as follows:
- Students must be South African citizens.
- Students must study fulltime at an acceptable university.
- Bursaries will only be awarded for postgraduate studies.
- Fields of study must be relevant to the South African agricultural industry and must conform to the objectives of the Trust.
- Topics for student theses must be approved by the Trustees of the Trust.
- A curriculum vitae, full past study particulars, a short summary of his/her intended thesis and an ID copy of each applicant are required.
- A nominated mentor for the study programme, together with the university where the studies are to be undertaken, have to be approved by the Trustees of the Trust.
- Students will be expected to work in the South African agricultural industry for a period equal to the period for which a bursary is awarded.
- Annual bursary amounts will be determined by the Trust each year.
- The closing date for bursary applications is 31 January of every year.
