Job Requirements:

Engineering Degree/ National Diploma or Equivalent Tertiary Qualification

A Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a manager in a water and sanitation industry

Knowledge of legal and procedural management of water and wastewater quality systems

Experience with managing of operations staff ensuring an overall conducive climate within and

with other departments

In depth knowledge and practical application of water and wastewater utility management and operations

In depth knowledge of engineering principles and practices

Responsibilities:

Achieve and maintain prestigious water and wastewater quality certification

Responsible for training and development of operations staff

Manage operations staff responsible for day-to-day technical activities

Drive and implement Water Conservancy and Demand Management programs Non-Revenue Water

Improve service delivery in water and sanitation activities

Manage and implementation of Capital Expenditure and Operations Expenditure budget

Manage and maintain effective working relationships with Internal and External Stakeholders

Provide strategic direction in relation to expansion of service delivery in terms of infrastructure and facilities required
