Which Nsfas Registration Forms for 2022 | NSFAS aims to fund those interested in studying further but cannot afford to do so. The bursary offers two types of funding, which include university funding and TVET College funding. Their funding goes beyond tuition fees. However, only certain students are eligible. Those eligible for NSFAS funding will receive tuition fees, accommodation fees, transport allowances, living allowances, book allowances, and incidental or personal care allowances.

When nsfas is closing

Applications will open for two weeks, from August 18, 2021, to September 03, 2021. NSFAS encourages qualifying students who are registered in the 2021 academic cycle and are without any other form of a bursary to enquire with their Financial Aid Office whether they qualify to apply during this window, prepare all the relevant supporting documents and apply as soon as the university gives you the go-ahead. Applications submitted after the closing date will not be considered.

How will NSFAS allowances be paid?

NSFAS allowances will be paid in cash to the student via the Fundi system.  Once the allowances are debited to your student class fee account, you will receive an SMS message from Fundi to upload your banking details.  Fundi will confirm your banking details and payment will follow.

When will I receive my private accommodation payment?

You must apply online for your private accommodation.  It is compulsory to upload your rental agreement and proof of home address.  If your private accommodation application is approved by the 25th of a month you will receive payment from your move-in date up to date during the first week of the following month and thereafter you will receive your monthly payments until November.
