Introduction
Our client, an FMCG and retail franchising conglomerate has a vacancy for a Operations / Projects Manager:
The role of the Operations Project Manager is to drive implementation, training and execution of the delivery ecosystem throughout the AME region. This includes supporting the AME teams with best operating practice tools, models, training and innovation in order for them to execute on their KPI’s.
This individual will need to work closely with all service providers involved, to ensure they manage the relationship with these key suppliers, including: development requirements, maintenance issues, training, performance and support of the regional teams.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Function as the liaison between the various AME teams and the ecosystem service providers across all brands
- Support brands in development of delivery roll- out, technology enhancements, call center infrastructure and 3rd party service provider partnerships
- Provide technology support and guidance for all delivery ecosystem requirements in the AME regions
- Training of the AME teams to ensure ecosystem knowledge and skills transfer
- Ensure all system installations are compliant and completed to the brand standards
- Manage logistics capabilities and ensure efficiency of delivery requirements
- Manage and evaluate trials of systems for potential future use
- Project manage development and delivery of platforms and systems
- Negotiate and evaluate commercial models
- Analyse reports and extract key actions for execution
- Manage and assess KPI performance of ecosystem
- Conduct weekly meetings with the specific AME regions to outline successes and challenges with the ecosystem and systems supporting them
- Compile and evaluate specific reports for the regions, based on restaurant performance to ensure compliance and improvement in KPI’s
- Conduct regular in-trade / country reviews with the regional teams to evaluate ecosystem usage and compliance.
- Evaluate future opportunities for inclusion into delivery ecosystem in AME regions
- Identify and build delivery specific capability within each of the regions
- Provide weekly consolidated communication to regional heads and Tech Hub
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Possession of a suitable tertiary qualification.
- Good knowledge of home delivery ecosystems and platforms
- Minimum 3 years franchising experience.
- Experience in implementation and execution of technology projects.
- Good knowledge of delivery technology and apps.
- Courier company or logistics background / knowledge.
- Valid passport.
