Introduction
A construction company is looking for an experienced Construction Production Manager in their JHB office to organize and oversee Construction Projects. You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all Projects and the quality of output. You will oversee Project Managers and other staff in the related branch.
We expect you to have deep know-how in Construction (Engineering, Building & Quantity Surveying) methodology, reporting & procedures. Ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader. Decision-making and problem-solving will take up a great part of your day. The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive execution of projects that meets customer requirements.

Compulsory Experience & Qualification
Compulsary Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years Construction experience.
- BSc or BTech in Engineering, Construction Management and or Quantity Surveying or relevant field is preferred.
- Professional registered as one of the following: Pr. Eng or Pr. Construction Manager or Pr.QS or Construction Project Manager (Proof must be given with your application)
Experience:
- CCS – Strong knowledge.
- Proven experience as production manager or similar role in managing project managers.
- Deep knowledge of Construction Management.
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
- Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts.
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP software.
- Outstanding communication ability.
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Estimating as well of quality assurance as to tender documents.
- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
- Knowledge and experience in production and Construction processes and techniques.
- Knowledge of raw materials.
- Knowledge of quality systems and standards.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance.
- Knowledge of process improvement techniques.
- Knowledge of business, finance, and management principles.
- Knowledge of human resource principles and practices.
- Knowledge of machines and tools
- Knowledge of engineering and technology principles and practices.
