Introduction
A Randburg-based organisation specialising in Administration and Accounting has a vacant position in their Administration Department.
Must live in or around the RANDBURG area
This individual needs to take an administrative support position in the organisation and will co-ordinate and execute administration tasks. The incumbenthas to perform a variety of administrative, clerical and client-based duties necessary to support the organisation effectively.The Administration Officer is responsible for the day-to-day administrative functions and will be required to support and assist other members of the team. The incumbent will need to establish and build relationships with clients.
Duties & Responsibilities
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IS REQUIRED TO:
Administration Officer:
- Be responsible for the full administration function for a portfolio of clients
- Process client files and identify missing information -follow up on outstanding documents
- Track the movement in client accounts
- Provide updates to the relevant team members
- Effective query management and resolution
- Ensuring daily control procedures are adhered to
- Work with relevant documents such as trial balances, bond statements, balance sheets etc.
- Contribute to the team as needed
- Assist departments with administrative duties
Client relationship management:
- Liaising with clients to gather the relevant information for their files
- Build relationships with clients
- Client reporting
Desired Experience & Qualification
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- The ideal candidate should have 1 year minimum experience in a similar role (Administrative)
- Bookkeeping knowledge& Trust administration experience advantageous
- Excellent written (email) and verbal communication skills – English and Afrikaans
- Professional and excellent work ethic
- Ability to prioritise issues, work efficiently, independently and complete actions necessary to meet requests
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to adapt easily to a constantly changing environment
- Ability to take initiative
- Enjoy working with others and dealing with clients
