Our client based in Pretoria West is looking for a Debtors Controller with a proven track record of debtor collections in both the Private and Tender Market
Duties & Responsibilities
Qualification
- Progress of a BCOM degree or other similar recognized financial qualification
- Minimum of 1 year of Debtors management experience
- Minimum of 1 year of Tender Market Debtor collection experience
- Proficient in excel & ERP systems
- Strong communication, reporting and administrative skills
- Deadline driven
- Team player
Responsibilities
- Collection of outstanding debtors (Private market & Tender market)
- Allocations of receipts against debtor accounts
- Investigation of queries and management thereof
- Processing of credit notes & bad debt transactions
- Reporting of Debtors status to management
- Engaging credit bureau and other collection agencies
- Review of new debtor applications
- Debtor statement management
- Collating support documentation such as PODs, tax invoices, etc.
- Filing and other administrative functions
- Assisting with sales order processing and tracking of deliveries
- Assisting in general accounting/bookkeeping entries
- Other ad-hoc financial activities
