Introduction
a Well established Financial Company in Cape Town is looking for a suitable candidate to employ in the position of General Manager.
The successful person will be overseeing the Consumer Products line, Business Management and Operations who will serve as a key role mostly autonomously within the Consumer Product and Corporate Client Division. Will manage a wide range of high level operational, business expanion an poject management tasks for the group of companies. Will also serve as the Leader and be the direct point of contact for Corporate Clients, Sales, Credit and Risk Management, New Business Development and Expansion drives to African Countries.
This position requires a person with at least 5-7 years experience in Consume Finance with a B Com Degree in Finance or similar.
Knowledge of NCA and its application is essential.
The salary for the role is between R70k – R100k per month neg
Duties & Responsibilities
- Enable business decisions by strategic understanding of the Group’s business
- Partner with finance to track business performance and provie key leadership updates in terms of corporate clients
- Provide context above and beyond the data
- Addressing the why behind the numbers
- Connect dots among corporate clients and their marketing, sales and innovation to understand and improve business drives
- Identify performance gaps and opportunities within the consumer product business as well as expaning our eCommerce, corporate client business and franchising to neighbouring African Countries
- Quantify and prioritize gaps
- Incorporate data into every dicision made regarding consumr products and the corporate client finance team
- Assist in development forecasting, P&Ls and financial analysis
- Develop and own Post Launch Evaluation processes where necessary, develop KPI’s, assess performance and garner learnings to improve business revenue at Corporate Client and franchising level
- General Management duties across the Group of Companis
Desired Experience & Qualification
- 5-7 years experience in Consumer Finance
- B Com Degree in Finance or relevant
- Solid business analytics skills, P & L experience
- Strong project management and operational skills
- Exceptional ability to coordinate and influence multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of NCA and its application essential
Package & Remuneration
R70k – R100k per month
