Duties & Responsibilities
As the Business Technology (BT) Category Manager, you are responsible for the entire Business Technology Division and also be responsible for the recruitment of New Members.
The BT Category Manager is responsible for the implementation of the category strategies with Members and Suppliers. You will also be expected to ensure that the Company is kept up-to-date and abreast of all the Vendor initiatives and requirements.
Main Tasks
- Category Management
- Manage the development of Business Technology
- Manage Key Suppliers
- Develop existing and find new markets for Business Technology
- New Member Recruitment
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric + Diploma in Procurement, Business Management, Marketing, Supply Chain Management
- Drivers Licence
- Advanced MS Office skills
- OEM Certification – HP, Acer, Lenovo, Dell, Canon
- 5 years in the Business Technology Industry
- Existing relationship with preferred vendors would be an advantage
- Extensive negotiation skills
