Kempston Recruitment Senior Financial Services Manager – East London

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant, CA (SA) – a requisite
• 10 years experience in the finance sector, with 5 years management level experience – a must
• Practical knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and IFRS for small companies
• Sound understanding of IAS
• A thorough knowledge of the Tax Act, PFMA, Treasury Regulations, Companies Act and Insolvency Act is required
• NCA, FICA and King report knowledge, a must
• Basic knowledge of Base II/III

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate would be required, but not limited to; lead and manage the financial services unit in order to ensure provision of efficient and effective financial and budget controls

• Implementing and maintaining fiancial strategies
• Financial controls
• Financial statutory reporting
• Budget management of the unit
• Providing financial support to the various business units
• Managing the department
