Introduction
We are a grower and supplier of indoor pot plants to the retail and horticultural trade. We require a skilled, well presented, fully bilingual key account manager in our sales department. Suitable candidate must have own transport.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Analyse the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Continuous improvement through regular feedback
- Realise volume growth with existing customers
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Proven work experience as a sales representative or account manager
- Team player
- Strong to advanced knowledge of Excel
- Ideally have Interest in plants/ interior decorating and follow relevant online posts/social media to be able to contribute to new product development
- Detail orientated
- Self-driven and eager to learn.
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills (verbally and written communication)
- Prioritising, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Must have own transport
Package & Remuneration
- Basic salary plus commission based structure
