Unique Alloy Welding Credit Manager

1. Primary Responsibility

1.1    Credit Control

• Capturing the supplier invoices for all stock received by GRV
• GRV’s to be linked to the relevant invoices as received and captured by the procurement department
• Capturing supplier invoices for all branches for gas received (Industrial and LPG)
• Compiling monthly reconciliations for all suppliers (head office and branches) which includes discount and non-discount suppliers as well as all IT Expense suppliers
• Completed reconciliations and remittances to be submitted for review by Management Accountant
• Capturing of creditor payments from the bank statement and allocating payment to the relevant supplier and invoices as per creditor reconciliation and remittance
• Alphabetical filing of signed off creditor reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Continuous follow up of supplier or reconciliation queries
• Clearing GRV report at month end and following up on any un-cleared GRV accounts

1. Secondary Responsibility

2.1    Bank & Cash reconciliations and other

• Daily capturing and balancing of bank accounts:
• Monthly reconciling of all bank accounts mentioned above and submitted for approval to Management Accountant
• Daily management, control and capturing of petty cash transactions for the Boksburg branch
• Weekly and monthly reconciling of Boksburg petty cash account and submitting for approval to the Group Administration Manager
• Weekly preparation, submission and capturing of COD payments
• Monthly capturing of salary, transport, data and other expense invoices for Weldamax Hamisa
• Any other administrative or financial task requested by the Finance Department
• Capturing inventory journal for paper and books taken from procurement
• Capturing no charge invoices from sales reps
• Completion of new supplier credit applications
• Arranging of credit limit increases with suppliers
