Main Purpose of Role
You will be a key-member of the Regional IT Services RITS CDM IT Integration Team. Engage with Business and Customers being accountable for the demand, the supply as well as the deployment client facing IT solutions delivered to the Regional Business Partners and Customers. Act as the overall IT representative towards the business Marketing & Sales functions in coordination with the Central Integration Team.
The position covers Global, Regional and Local Integrations, customer systems solutions, innovation and all steps of the development life-cycle. Ensure fast and on-time flow of development and information between all stakeholders.
The role contributes to the GIT and RITS objectives, strategy definition and execution and supports the Regional Business- and Global IT Organization in reaching its revenue growth, cost reduction and innovation targets.
Duties and Responsibilities
Strategy
- Develop/Contribute and maintain an understanding of the GIT and RITS strategy and objectives, as well as the current operational environment and challenges.
- Participate and influence the definition of IT objectives / goals that have a major impact on the company’s operational and strategic business objectives.
- Participate in translating GIT / RITS strategic objectives into action plans and ensuring their execution.
- Contribute to the Global IT strategy in the IT Integration Area.
- Understand client requirements and market trends that will contribute towards the DSV standard client solutions
Demand Management
- Participate in Managing regional projects pipeline, prioritization of projects and related SLAs for Customer Systems Solutions.
- Together with the Business Implementation Manager align the planning (high level and detailed) with the Global Customer Integration Office and integration teams
- Responsible for defining and building cross-functional frameworks, processes and business relationship required for an efficient IT demand and supply management.
- Participate in priority setting and negotiating mutually acceptable solutions where conflicts arise
- Represent IT and ensure compliance of IT standards with external engagements (New business take on)
- Establish IT relationships with the client facing DSV staff to ensure IT Product strategy is enforced
- Evaluation and signoff of final IT product/solution delivery to ensure alignment between business requirements, solutions design and final product delivery.
Innovation Management
- Contribute to the development of new insights and concepts that lead to true innovation projects.
Application / Project Portfolio Management
- Responsible to obtain, maintain excellent knowledge regarding customer application portfolio
- Responsible for managing the RITS Customer Systems project portfolio consisting of own developed and purchased software.
- Responsible for acknowledging the demand of regional and global products, their strategy, conception, development, release & deployment.
- Responsible for knowledge transfer and support to the regional and global business partners
- Assist the regional business partners in pre-sales activities in particular in the RFI & RFQ responding process and client presentations and meetings where necessary.
- Responsible for business analysis, and translation of business requirements into demand.
- Responsible for the management and coordination of the complete IT project lifecycle for customer application projects in particular: Solution Design, Configuration and/or Development, Installation, Documentation, UAT, SIT, Training, Roll-Out and Sign-Off.
- Responsible for interacting with the relevant IT functions (IT Governance / IT Productivity / IT Architecture / IT Service Delivery) with the end goal of delivering IT solutions to the regional products (Marketing and Sales).
People Management
- Collaborate and Coordinate information and projects within high performing teams
- Contribute to set overall direction and processes for the teams. Measure achievement against these, provide appropriate coaching, training and other development needs
Finance Management / Governance
- Participate in establishing budgets, regular forecasting and on-going cost control process.
- Support the IT governance process and IT architecture function in its mission, objective and action plans.
Responsible for managing software vendors and other external partners. Evaluate external vendors’ performance, assess variances, and initiate corrective actions
